Well, we had a pretty good year with tons of snow. I bought my 08 M6 in January and I still ended up with 1259 miles on it! On top of the 400 miles that I put on my previous sled (600 Mountain Cat). My hubby put 1900 miles on his 08 M8!! Both sleds were problem free just a burnt belt on the M8 (hubby came up to rescue me when I got stuck on a sidehill and he left his machine with the brake on so it wouldn't take off and when I got on it to drive it down all you could see was belt smoke and I could hear the yelling even with my helmet on) needless to say he wasn't very impressed that I burnt a $100 belt just like that!! All in all,lots of good miles put on in the backcountry!

dont feal bad i did the same thing put the belt on at the shop ran the sled in the back of the truck PUT THE PARK BREAK ON drove to the riding spot and like an idiot for some reason when i went to back it out my mind said your carbides are stuck give it another shot of gas lol...way to break in a new belt lmao...sounds like you had a great year sleddin

I had an alright season. i was workin alot of time but still maganed some good ridin. i also have an 06 M6 which i bought there in Janurary, put 900 miles on it. broke one belt on my last day of riding about 20 mins before puttin the sled up for the year

you post those alberta pics yet : )...i beat you all on belts exploded 2 notched 1 and retired 2 more that all the threads came out..new springs and bushings helped got 1000 so far on the last one

I am not completely sure, but I have 2400 miles on my poor sled :(, I think I started out around 1000 this last season. I wish I was not done.... :(

this year i logged about 4500km er more n busted 1 belt n one thats on now is screwed.last year ig ot about 1500km or less not used to er last year n didn't want to break her hahaha not ne mroe lol :P

I put 500 miles on my sled this winter...was lating gettin the rev and i put about 2000 on the old safari 377 lol

i got my rev in the middle of feb and i put 2700 km's on it, lost one belt and one set of plugs and a plug cap , and about 15 lugs hahaha , just more incentive to get a bigger one next year, come on snow

lugs lol..i managed to spit a fue off this year as well couple broken bars in the track tryed to kill it but the thing wouldnt give up...tore a ski rod off last ride filming as i rode poped over a snow bank, woopsie rock pile...thanks mike for stoping to point it out NOT lmao

3300 miles ....i can say now everyones starting to get riding again lol...slaping in a new set of pistons and rings In this winter to freshen the belt eating bas*@#d up

ahhha thats pretty funny.. well i think it was my first few days on my sled dis year i took her and busted my belt within 3 hours or soo.. lol.. and put a new track on her got about 100km put on that already .. lol got reed valves,power reeds,clutch kit all shoved on to her lol.. just can't wait for the snow to come and get some good riding in.. o yeah i got a same incident as u john but i ran into a small peice of steel sticking out of the ground and tore my carbide right off and screwed my trailing arm up and beat both hand gaurds off :P
